Preschool Choir

Preschool choir is a music program for children ages 4-5. We explore music through songs, instruments and bible verses.

Children's Choir

Children's choir is a music program for children in First through Sixth grades. We praise and worship God through our songs and dedication to learning His gift of music.

Children's Sermon

During each Sunday morning worship service, children through sixth grade are invited to come to the front steps for a special message focusing on Biblical truths and God's love. 

Extended Session Sunday School

During Sunday morning worship, Preschoolers, birth through age 3, remain in their Sunday School rooms and continue their learning about Jesus. This ministry of caring and teaching is staffed by parents, who work once a quarter, every three months. Additional volunteers are always needed!

Children's Church

Children's church is an opportunity to prepare children (ages 4 & 5) for the regular worship service, through participation in a "mini" worship service on a child's level of interest. Our objective is to create awareness that Jesus, God's son, is their "Best Friend", and to present the Bible truths and teach their applications to daily living through a structured, varied and well-planned program of interest to the children.

Children's Bible Drill

The purpose of Children's Bible Drill is to help children in Grades 1 through 6 increase in knowledge of the Bible, develop skills in locating Bible books, memorizing the names of the books of the Bible and begin developing memory-verse skills.

Mission Friends

Mission Friends is a missions program for children ages Four - Kindergarten. In Mission Friends, children learn about foreign and home missionaries and the areas in which they serve. Children are exposed to new cultures and learn about God's love for all people through stories, art, songs, games, and puzzles. The group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 in the Preschool wing.

G.A.'s (Girls In Action)

G.A.'s (Girls In Action) is a mission program for girls in grades 1-6. Come join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

R.A.'s (Royal Ambassadors)

R.A.'s (Royal Ambassadors) is a mission program for boys in grades 1-6. This group also meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

Jefferson Baptist Preschool

Jefferson Baptist Kindergarten is an outreach ministry of our church for children ages three, four, and five (fives are those children not yet ready for kindergarten). We offer four and five day a week classes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Our program includes enrichment activities, music, simplified physical education, field trips, art activities, as well as indoor and outdoor play. Our desire is to teach a love of learning and a love for Jesus through all these activities.

Mother's Day Out

At Jefferson Baptist's Mother's Day Out, we want your child to experience God's love for him through loving relationships and happy times at school. Because each child is growing physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually, we provide a variety of positive learning activities. The activities look a lot like play - that's the way young children learn - but they also teach skills and introduce children to the joy of learning. We meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
